Role

The Museum of Art & Photography (MAP) is looking for two enthusiastic AI interns to support a fast-paced, two-month project on integrating Artificial Intelligence into their workflows. You will work with multiple teams to identify routine tasks, explore affordable AI tools (under $25/month), and set up solutions that boost efficiency, creativity, and collaboration within the museum.

Responsibilities

  • Work with various teams to map daily workflows and identify repetitive or manual tasks.
  • Research, shortlist, and evaluate AI tools suited to operational needs.
  • Configure selected AI tools using a shared account for smooth management.
  • Design and implement AI-assisted workflows to improve speed, productivity, and creativity.
  • Provide simple training and/or create guidance documents for staff.
  • Monitor tool performance and adjust solutions as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, automation, or digital tools.
  • Experience or familiarity with AI platforms (e.g., chatbots, automation tools, scheduling assistants, transcription services) is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills to match tools with user needs.
  • Comfortable exploring different SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams while working independently.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
