Associate Role at a Leading Finance Organization

About the Role
The organization is looking for a full-time Associate to develop its Blended Finance Practice. The Associate will conduct market research, design blended finance structures, prepare fundraising materials, manage projects, and engage with a variety of stakeholders, including social enterprises, funders, investors, and policymakers.
The ideal candidate is analytical, entrepreneurial, and an excellent communicator with a passion for the development sector.
Key Responsibilities
Research, Analysis, and Writing
- Conduct primary and secondary research in impact sectors.
- Prepare presentations, concept notes, and research reports.
Deal Sourcing and Structuring
- Identify opportunities and partners for blended finance or outcome-based financing projects.
- Develop an understanding of key issues, interventions, and indicators to assist with project structuring.
Project Management
- Manage and implement blended finance investments and projects in collaboration with leadership.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and manage relationships with key players in the ecosystem, including non-profits, funders, policymakers, and sector experts.
Organizational Development
- Contribute to organizational growth by preparing internal and external materials, updating website content, and drafting grant proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields (e.g., Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Public Policy).
- 3–6 years of experience in investment, consulting, start-ups, corporate roles, or public policy.
Skills and Requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Leadership and ability to work independently.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to work in fast-paced environments.
- Passion for the development/social impact sector.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% or more across India, including rural areas.
Compensation
The salary will be competitive within the impact investment industry and commensurate with experience.
