CHAI is a global health organization focused on saving lives and reducing disease burden in low- and middle-income countries. Since its founding in 2002, primarily to address HIV/AIDS, CHAI has expanded its efforts to include combating infectious diseases like COVID-19, malaria, tuberculosis, and hepatitis. They also address non-communicable diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and hypertension, and work on initiatives related to maternal and child mortality, malnutrition, vaccine rollout, and health system strengthening. In India, CHAI collaborates through its affiliate, the William J Clinton Foundation (WJCF), alongside the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to enhance healthcare outcomes across several high-priority health areas.
About the Role
The Analyst/Senior Analyst will assist the Lead, Strategic Partnerships and Programs, in developing and implementing new health programs aligned with government priorities. The role includes strategic scoping, program development, stakeholder collaboration, and program implementation to ensure sustainable and impactful initiatives.
Role: Analyst/Senior Analyst
Location: New Delhi (with 25% travel required)
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on strategic initiatives to drive WJCF’s impact in health transformation.
- Conduct thorough analysis of potential program areas based on funding opportunities and government needs.
- Support the development of prioritised intervention roadmaps, including handling grant writing.
- Assist in the rollout and monitoring of health programs, focusing on sustainability and measurable impact.
- Create program collaterals like reports, briefs, memos, and decks for potential partners.
- Engage with a diverse set of stakeholders to gather insights and contribute to strategy.
- Showcase program impact in meetings and conferences.
- Handle additional responsibilities as required by the team.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in project management, program development, or business development.
- Skills: Strong research abilities with experience in program monitoring and evaluation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English proficiency.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Other Requirements: Ability to manage multiple tasks, handle ambiguity, and work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Open to remote work with decentralized teams.
