Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI)
CHAI is a global health organisation focused on saving lives and improving health systems in low- and middle-income countries. Founded in 2002 to combat the HIV/AIDS epidemic, CHAI has since expanded its work to address various infectious and non-communicable diseases, vaccine rollout, maternal and child health, and more. In India, WJCF works closely with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) to improve healthcare outcomes across multiple initiatives, including tuberculosis (TB) elimination.
About the Role
Position: Analyst - Tuberculosis Program
Location: India
The Analyst will support the design and implementation of strategies to eliminate TB in India, working closely with the National TB Elimination Program (NTEP), Central TB Division (CTD), and state health departments. This includes data-driven decision-making, program monitoring, policy updates, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Program Development & Implementation
- Design and implement program strategies aligned with government priorities.
- Incorporate lessons learned, policies, and best practices into program design.
Data & Monitoring Tools
- Develop and roll out data collection tools.
- Analyse facility- and community-level data to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Create visualizations, dashboards, and tools to support decision-making.
Policy & Research
- Conduct research and prepare briefs on policy developments.
- Support the development of program guidelines, SOPs, and protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with government stakeholders, donors, and partners.
- Build relationships with service providers, officials, and community leaders.
Program Monitoring & Reporting
- Identify challenges and propose solutions for program goals.
- Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders and donors.
Other Tasks
- Support new project scoping and grant applications.
- Undertake other responsibilities as needed.
