Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate AI/ML professional to design, develop, and optimize machine learning models that address critical challenges in agriculture, water, climate, and biodiversity. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that directly improve lives in rural India.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML models for agriculture, water management, and climate change solutions.
• Process and analyse datasets from geospatial, IoT, and ground sources to extract actionable insights.
• Collaborate with domain experts to define requirements and constraints.
• Fine-tune and optimize algorithms for accuracy and efficiency.
• Build end-to-end ML pipelines, from preprocessing to deployment.
• Stay updated on AI/ML advancements and explore new applications.
• Document models, processes, and results for transparency.
• Contribute to AI-powered platforms for rural natural resource management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields.
• 2–3 years of hands-on AI/ML development and deployment experience.
• Strong Python skills; proficiency with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and handling large datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in agriculture, environmental science, or remote sensing.
• Knowledge of geospatial tools (QGIS, GDAL).
• Awareness of AI ethics and fairness.
