About The Role
As an AI Researcher at Digital Green, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, developing advanced models in language processing, voice recognition, and computer vision, specifically tailored for the agricultural domain. Your work will have a direct impact on enhancing the capabilities of our conversational bots, voice-enabled interfaces, and image analysis systems, making them more effective for the farmers who rely on them.
What You'll Do
- Domain-specific Language Modeling: Develop language models focused on agricultural content, enhancing bots' ability to understand and generate relevant information in local languages.
- Voice Recognition Development: Optimize speech recognition models for native languages, ensuring high accuracy and reliability in recognizing agricultural terminology and dialects.
- Computer Vision Innovations: Create models for agricultural applications like plant disease detection and crop monitoring, utilizing real-world data.
- Data Collection and Annotation: Collaborate with program teams to gather and annotate high-quality agricultural data in local languages.
- Model Training and Optimization: Use state-of-the-art techniques to train and evaluate AI models, ensuring they meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.
- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and agricultural experts to integrate AI into our platforms, and share your insights with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, continuously refining and optimizing our models for peak performance.
Who We’re Looking For
- A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in AI research, with a strong focus on NLP, ASR, or computer vision.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to design experiments and interpret results.
- Familiarity with agricultural practices and a passion for customizing AI solutions for the farming community.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
