About the Role
Position: Assistant Manager – Design
Reporting to: Head – Programme Communications
The Assistant Manager – Design will be a crucial member of the communication team, responsible for creating high-quality outreach materials. This includes designing communication content for social media, reports, newsletters, and other collaterals to promote WWF-India’s conservation efforts across various landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Ideate and design visual content for WWF-India’s internal and external communication.
- Design Collaterals: Create posters, pamphlets, newsletters, booklets, and social media creatives to enhance outreach efforts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Programme teams, the Communications Manager, and other stakeholders.
- Manage Freelancers: Build and maintain a network of freelancers for design tasks.
- Newsletter Layout: Assist in ideating and designing the Programme Newsletter.
- Content Repository: Maintain and organize photos, videos, and other visual assets.
- Creativity in Collaterals: Develop engaging, creative templates and visual designs that bring freshness to WWF-India’s communication material.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in design or professional training in design software.
- Experience: Minimum of three years in design, preferably in the social sector.
- Interest Areas: Passion for wildlife conservation, climate change, and environmental issues.
