Role
The Assistant Manager - IT will help oversee the foundation's technology systems. This involves providing technical support, managing IT projects, and ensuring the security and integrity of data to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist the IT Manager in developing and implementing the IT strategy.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues with hardware, software, and networks.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Ensure information system security, including data backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Manage IT projects from requirement gathering to timely completion.
- Collaborate with vendors to get and implement technology solutions.
- Lead and guide a team of IT professionals.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT systems to find and fix vulnerabilities.
- Manage the IT budget, including cost estimation and expense monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT field.
- Proven experience in system administration, network management, and project management.
- Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, software, and security.
- Experience with server administration, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Android-based apps, web applications, and Power BI tools.
- Knowledge of Database Administration and Store Procedure Query.
- Certifications like Network+, Security+ are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to different states where THF works.
