Role

As the Assistant Manager for Software Development, you will lead the technical creation of digital tools that power Breakthrough’s mission. You will bridge the gap between complex backend architecture and user-friendly interfaces to ensure the organization's data and platforms run smoothly.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of web applications using ASP.NET Core and legacy frameworks.
Design and optimize complex SQL Server databases, including stored procedures and triggers.
Coordinate with UI/UX teams to build responsive interfaces using Bootstrap 5 and modern CSS.
Manage the integration of RESTful APIs and third-party digital services.
Troubleshoot production issues to ensure long-term stability and scalability of internal systems.
Participate in architecture discussions to guide technical decision-making for the IT department.
Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to refine deployment pipelines and software quality.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ASP.NET development and C#.
Advanced expertise in MS SQL Server, including performance tuning and execution plan analysis.
Proficiency in Bootstrap 5, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for frontend development.
Proven experience in REST API development and version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working on enterprise-level applications or ERP systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead legacy-to-modern .NET migrations.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a diverse, mission-driven team.
