Role
As a member of the Scholarship Support Team, you will ensure that the scholarship process runs smoothly. Your primary purpose is to help students navigate the application system and manage the verification of their data so that the support reaches those who need it most.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end support for scholarship applications through the online management portal.
- Guide applicants and team members through the application submission process.
- Screen and verify applications strictly according to the eligibility criteria.
- Coordinate with students to collect missing documents or clarify information.
- Manage the renewal process for existing scholarship recipients.
- Write clear reports and short summaries of the application progress.
- Assist with the coordination of external support teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience (experience in the banking sector is highly valued).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data handling.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Ability to speak and write in at least one regional language: Hindi, Urdu, Kannada, Telugu, or Odia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact kindly and effectively with students.
- Strong attention to detail for verifying documents and data.
