Role
As an Associate - Design, Communications, you’ll play a key role in shaping how WRI shares its mission and impact with the world. You’ll work closely with the communications team to create engaging, informative, and innovative designs for both print and digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create communication materials for events and workshops, including backdrops, standees, posters, booklets, leaflets, books, calendars, invitation cards, and merchandise
- Develop print and digital communication collaterals such as newsletters, reports, infographics, presentations, brochures, flyers, posters, and social media graphics
- Coordinate with vendors to produce impactful infographics and videos
- Champion WRI India’s design principles, brand guidelines, and product templates
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance the effectiveness and reach of WRI communications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in design or communication design
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of Canva and presentation design
- Experience with data visualization and video editing (Premier Pro) is a plus
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work (print, event, digital, infographics, presentations/videos)
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Detail-oriented, creative, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
