Operating nationally from Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, Vidhi partners with governments, courts, and civil society to improve governance through clearer, contemporary, and more effective legal frameworks.
Role
Vidhi is hiring an Associate Fellow to work with its Vidhi Karnataka Team for a period of one month. This short-term role offers an opportunity to contribute to legal research that directly shapes policy and governance in Karnataka, working alongside government officials on issues that affect citizens' daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Undertake high-quality research on issues related to the legal aspects of urban governance, property rights, social welfare, and other areas within the purview of the State Government under the Constitution
- Prepare quality reports, research notes and presentations
- Attend meetings with government officials on ongoing and new projects
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in law
- 0-3 years of work experience (a master's degree will be counted as one year of work experience)
- Good research and writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
