Role
You will be responsible for managing volunteering activities and the planning and execution of events and programs in Telangana. This role involves increasing volunteer activation through partnerships, maintaining databases, and collaborating with internal teams and government officials.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for and manage volunteering activities.
- Plan and execute events and programs.
- Increase volunteer activation, especially through collaboration with non-profits, NGOs, and colleges.
- Work closely with other internal teams to support their needs in organizing projects and hold self-accountable for day-to-day event execution.
- Manage adding new volunteers, providing support, and giving recognition.
- Maintain events and volunteer databases.
- Build good rapport with Government officials.
- Handle documentation and reporting.
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience.
- Preferred background: Undergraduate/Postgraduate in Master of Social Work, Master of Business Administration, Public Administration, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Excellent organizing, communication, and budgetary skills.
- Proficient in Excel and spreadsheets.
- Excellent analytical and on-spot decision-making abilities.
- Experience including preparing for fundraising.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, and excellent organizational, planning, writing, and oral presentation skills.
- Proactive and well organized, with strong ethics, reliability, and trustworthiness.
- Fluency in English is essential; Telugu & Hindi is an added advantage.
