Build for Bharat Fellowship
This is a 6-month fellowship program for early-career technologists. Fellows are placed within government departments to work on high-impact technology projects that aim to improve digital governance and public systems.
The different application tracks available:
- Engineering (Full-stack, Front-end, Back-end, Mobile)
- Data (Data Analytics, AI/ML/LLM, Data Visualization)
- Product Design (UI/UX, Information Design, User Research)
- GIS (Remote Sensing, Satellite Imagery, GIS Infrastructure Planning)
Responsibilities
- Work on technology projects to improve the lives of citizens or enhance government effectiveness.
- Contribute to projects like redesigning mobile apps, improving welfare discovery, and strengthening attendance systems.
- Use skills in GIS and AI/ML for tasks such as incident response.
Requirements
- Must be a student graduating in 2024, 2025, or 2026, or an early-career professional.
- Demonstrable experience and strong skills in Design (UI/UX/User Research), Full Stack development, Data Science, or GIS.
- A problem-solving mindset and a commitment to using technology for social good.
