About the Role
As a Business Analyst within the Digital and Technology Directorate, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements and supporting the creation of digital products and solutions. You will work closely with global teams to ensure effective decision-making and problem-solving in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Consultancy, Analysis, and Problem Solving:
- Conduct pre-project analysis and support the development of business cases.
- Analyse Digital and Technology contracts and explore options and risks within technology projects.
- Recommend solutions based on capability, cost-benefit analysis, and strategic direction.
Internal Customer Focus:
- Investigate and determine business requirements and propose effective processes and solutions.
- Collaborate with technology delivery directors and stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions deliver the expected outcomes.
Service Improvement:
- Support benefit planning and realisation.
- Continuously improve the BA team’s processes and practices.
Functional Expertise:
- Maintain quality documents and data, such as the requirements traceability matrix.
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for developers.
Commercial & Financial Management:
- Recommend solutions considering business capabilities, costs, and strategic goals.
Stakeholder Management:
- Plan, prioritise, and manage time effectively across multiple projects.

Skills and Expertise Required:
Experience:
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role, impacting multiple business functions.
