They work closely with local communities and researchers to make sure everyone, especially those in difficult situations, can get the healthcare and respect they deserve.

Role

You will be the bridge between rural communities and essential health services, ensuring that vulnerable groups receive life-saving information and medical support while fighting against social stigma.

Responsibilities

• Map local villages to identify vulnerable households and available health facilities.
• Track community migration patterns to ensure continuous health support.
• Educate young people and high-risk groups on HIV prevention and risk reduction.
• Provide culturally appropriate information on condom use and safe practices.
• Work with local leaders and self-help groups to reduce discrimination against people living with HIV.
• Build strong relationships with local health units to help community members access clinics.
• Coordinate transport and appointments for patients at government hospitals and testing centers.
• Recruit and train local volunteers to support health initiatives.
• Collect data from condom distribution points and prepare monthly progress reports.
• Link betwwen Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad, Warangal, and Rangareddy.

Requirements

• Intermediate (12th Grade) or equivalent educational qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in health, livelihood, or rural development programs.
• Fluency in the local language to communicate effectively with community members.
• Basic data collection skills and the ability to maintain organized records.
• Strong leadership skills to guide volunteers and advocate with local stakeholders.
• Familiarity with government health policies and rural healthcare structures.
• High level of empathy and a commitment to inclusive community work.
• Ability to work flexibly within small, dedicated teams.
