Role

Communication Manager responsible for leading public relations and strategic communication efforts to amplify the organisation’s mission, projects, and impact.

Responsibilities

Design and implement publicity, media, and communication plans aligned with organisational goals.
Write and edit communication content across platforms (press releases, social media, newsletters, editorials).
Coordinate with internal teams and global partners to ensure consistent messaging.
Build and maintain relationships with media, securing media placements and handling inquiries.
Identify spokespeople, draft pitches, and prepare staff for external engagements.
Plan and manage events, panels, conferences, and awards submissions.
Monitor communication activities, track impact, and support reporting and strategy adjustments.
Manage external vendor relationships and ensure implementation quality.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of PR and communications experience.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities across multiple formats.
Experience managing media relations and communication strategies.
Excellent interpersonal and project-management skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience in public health communications and global/cross-functional settings preferred.
