About The Role

Mindworks Lab is looking for a dynamic and motivated Communications and Design Intern. This role will be essential in enhancing the organisation’s visibility and branding while supporting community engagement efforts. The intern will gain hands-on experience in communication and design, contributing to impactful projects within the non-profit sector.

• Duration: 3 months, with a possibility of extension
• Stipend: 400 Euros per month

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management

• Create engaging content for LinkedIn and Instagram using Canva templates.
• Schedule and publish posts to expand the organisation’s online presence.
• Monitor and report performance, suggesting improvements.

2. Written Content

• Assist in developing content for blog posts, monthly newsletters, and promotional materials for webinars.

3. Design and Branding

• Create visuals for social media, website, and newsletters, ensuring brand consistency.
• Design promotional materials for events, including invitations, banners, and signage.

4. Research and Analysis

• Research case studies and impact stories to illustrate the lab’s work.
• Compile and analyse data to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; English proficiency required.
• Passion for climate action and innovative approaches to social change.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram) and design tools like MailChimp and Canva.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant undergraduate or graduate program. Degree is flexible, strong communication skills are essential.
• Prior experience in a non-profit environment is preferred.
• Comfortable working remotely.
• A good sense of humour is a plus!
