Leadership For Equity (LFE) is a non-profit organisation that partners with governments to strengthen public education systems. By building the capacity of academic officers, teacher mentors, and administrators, LFE works to improve teaching quality and student learning at scale. Over the past five years, LFE has supported 2000+ system leaders and 40,000+ teachers, reaching more than 8 million students across multiple states. Role
We are seeking a Communications & Branding Intern to join our team at Leadership For Equity (LFE). This internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, storytelling, and brand management while directly supporting projects that showcase our impact in education.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels
- Assist in developing engaging content for newsletters, blogs, reports, and presentations
- Design visual assets including graphics, posters, and decks using Canva
- Capture and organise photos and videos at events such as workshops and webinars
- Maintain digital content repositories and ensure brand consistency
- Track and report on digital engagement metrics
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Media, Design, Marketing, or related fields
- Strong writing skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Canva and visual storytelling basics
- Organised, proactive, and eager to learn in a collaborative nonprofit environment
- Awareness of branding principles and consistency across formats
