Role
Dr. Reddy’s Foundation is hiring a Communications Intern for a full-time, three-month internship with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role. The role involves interacting with beneficiaries, documenting their experiences, and developing high-quality stories and communication material
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews and conversations with beneficiaries and stakeholders to capture authentic stories.
- Document stories and events in clear and engaging formats, including articles, short write-ups, case studies, and social media content.
- Support the creation of internal and external communication materials.
- Assist in organising and maintaining an archive of stories, photographs, and other communication assets.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop new content ideas.
- Support in designing visual content for social media, presentations, and reports using tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ongoing or completed) in Communications, Journalism, English, Liberal Arts, Media Studies, Public Relations, or related fields.
- Candidates from Design, Fine Arts, or related disciplines with strong writing skills may also apply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Telugu or Hindi is an advantage.
- Strong interviewing and documentation skills.
- Ability to write across formats from short-form to long-form content.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple stories.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, or Figma.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
