Role

The Convergence Foundation is incubating SCALE, an organisation designed to strengthen collaboration between non-profits, government, and funders to create systemic, large-scale change. As part of this effort, we are seeking a Communications Lead (Contractual) to drive visibility and engagement for two flagship events: the CSR Exemplars Report (September, Mumbai) and the HNI Coffee Table Book Launch (December, Mumbai/Bangalore). This is a high-impact role, working at the intersection of philanthropy, business, and social change.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution for the two events in coordination with SCALE, TCF, and communications teams.
  • Develop and manage event-specific social media handles and content.
  • Curate guest lists, manage invitations, RSVPs, and follow-ups.
  • Oversee design and production of event collateral.
  • Manage on-ground logistics including venue, vendors, branding, and event flow.
  • Maintain overall brand consistency and ensure a seamless stakeholder experience.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in communications, event management, or brand management.
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to coordinate multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders including CEOs and HNIs.
  • Prior experience with high-visibility events preferred.
  • Creative eye for content and design.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver in tight timelines.
