Launch Girls equips adolescent girls with the skills, agency, and support to access economic opportunities and change perceptions of their potential. When girls enter the workforce and gain financial independence, they can break cycles of poverty and inequality for generations to come. Through our Girl Boss program, girls carve out their own path for the future—whether in entrepreneurship, employment, or higher education. About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Communications Lead to manage our marketing and communications. This individual will help build an internationally recognized brand by creating engaging media content and fostering a vibrant online community.
Duration: 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for long-term leadership.
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (20-30 hours/week).
Location: Remote, flexible worldwide.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a communications strategy to enhance brand awareness.
- Build and engage online communities across selected social media platforms.
- Create compelling content (social media posts, newsletters, articles, etc.).
- Conduct communications audits and use data to improve engagement.
- Stay updated on marketing and communication trends and apply innovative strategies.
- Support the design and dissemination of our yearly crowdfunding campaign.
- Work with participants and partners to co-create content and amplify girls’ voices.
- Lead the Girl Squad, engaging girls in media creation.
