Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI)
CDRI is a global partnership promoting resilient infrastructure systems to address climate and disaster risks. Its mission is aligned with the post-2015 development agendas and focuses on:

The first edition of the Biennial Report, published in 2023, highlighted global risks, resilience dividends, and policy frameworks for infrastructure resilience.
About the Role
The CDRI seeks an Individual Consultant or Organization to support the development of the Second Biennial Report on Global Infrastructure Resilience. This consultancy will focus on technologies for resilient infrastructure, contributing to research, analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise on new technologies for resilient infrastructure.
- Author a detailed background report and a summary chapter for the Biennial Report.
- Conduct a literature review on technologies for resilient infrastructure.
- Collaborate with member countries to identify good practices and country examples.
- Participate in meetings and dissemination activities.
- Prepare deliverables, including:
- Inception report
- Annotated outline
- Intermediate and final reports
- Summary chapter
Deliverables Schedule
- Inception Report: 20%
- Intermediate Reports: 15%
- Background Report: 30%
- Summary Chapter: 35%
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 15 years in technology, engineering, disaster management, or related fields.
- Education: Master’s degree (PhD preferred).
- Proven expertise in technologies for resilient infrastructure and experience with global reports.
- Strong writing and communication skills in English.
- Experience working with international or multicultural organisations.
