Role
A senior role for an expert in irrigation and farming. You will lead large-scale efforts to improve water use in agriculture, working closely with farmers and the government.
Responsibilities
- Oversee water efficiency initiatives in the Bisht Doab Canal area.
- Coordinate demand-side and supply-side water management interventions.
- Work with government departments and farmers on institutional changes.
- Lead technical reporting and large-scale impact assessments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in agricultural water management.
- Deep understanding of Punjab’s agricultural landscape and irrigation systems.
- Strong leadership, policy engagement, and communication skills.
