Role

This role is for the field-scientist at heart. You will implement strategies to protect species like the Indus River Dolphin and gharials, ensuring their habitats remain safe and healthy.

Responsibilities

  • Implement conservation strategies for dolphins, gharials, otters, and turtles.
  • Conduct field surveys and lead habitat restoration initiatives.
  • Engage with district authorities and communities on biodiversity protection.
  • Monitor the impact of interventions on species populations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in field-based species conservation.
  • Technical skills in field surveys and monitoring tools.
  • Cultural sensitivity and strong community networking skills.
