Role
The Rehabilitation Home coordinator oversees the daily operations of our care facility. The purpose of this role is to ensure that every resident receives personalized care and support while maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant environment that meets all government standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities and operations of the rehabilitation home.
- Lead and support a team of counsellors, social workers, and care assistants.
- Create individualized care and rehabilitation plans for residents and track their progress.
- Ensure the home follows all government policies, licensing rules, and safety regulations.
- Organize vocational training, educational activities, and skill-building programs for residents.
- Coordinate with doctors, NGOs, and government agencies to provide the best support for residents.
- Manage the budget and resources of the home effectively to ensure smooth functioning.
- Address any grievances and maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain detailed records and prepare regular reports for management and funding partners.
- Conduct community outreach and awareness programs to support the cause.
Requirements
- Educational qualification: MBA (Master of Business Administration).
- Experience in planning and running social welfare or rehabilitation programs.
- Strong understanding of government social welfare policies and protection guidelines.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills to manage staff and daily tasks.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and counselling abilities.
- Proficiency in record-keeping, documentation, and preparing professional reports.
- Experience in crisis management and the ability to solve problems under pressure.
- Deep empathy and a patient approach toward vulnerable populations (such as children, women, or people with disabilities).
- Ability to network and coordinate effectively with external partners and healthcare providers.
