Guardians of Dreams
Guardians of Dreams is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children living in Child Care Institutions (CCIs) across India. The team believes that every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they can grow, learn, and thrive. For many vulnerable children, CCIs are their only safety net. Guardians of Dreams works to transform these institutions, ensuring that children receive the care and support they need to transition successfully into adulthood.

The organisation’s approach is holistic, focusing on strengthening the leadership and operational capacity of CCIs. Through its Capacity Accelerator Program (CAP), Guardians of Dreams partners with children’s homes to address challenges such as limited funding, lack of expertise, and the need for context-specific support. The team works closely with CCI leaders, staff, and stakeholders to introduce best practices, develop systems, and build sustainable organisations.
Guardians of Dreams is based in Bengaluru, with programmes in Chennai and Kochi. The organisation values versatility, commitment, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the childcare sector. Team members are encouraged to take initiative, learn across domains, and grow with the organisation.
At its heart, Guardians of Dreams is about giving every child the chance to dream big and achieve their potential, by building stronger, more caring institutions that put children first.
