LEEP is an impact-driven nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood lead poisoning, a crisis affecting one in three children globally. The organization focuses on high-impact interventions, particularly eliminating lead from paint, spices, and cosmetics. Since 2020, LEEP has launched programs in 37 countries, helping governments implement regulations and assisting manufacturers in switching to lead-free alternatives. Their work is recognized for its extreme cost-effectiveness, with international partners like the WHO and UN Environment Programme. Backed by major donors like USAID and Open Philanthropy, LEEP combines rigorous data with practical technical assistance to create a lead-free future for children everywhere.
