Role

A dedicated position focused on responding to animal abuse reports and working closely with law enforcement to ensure animal protection laws are strictly followed.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to cruelty-case complaints received via phone, email, and social media platforms.
  • Coordinate with local animal protection groups and volunteers to file official complaints.
  • Work with police, forest departments, and SPCA officials to register FIRs and offense reports.
  • Travel independently to various locations to manage and resolve urgent cruelty cases.
  • Maintain a national database of law enforcement contacts and volunteer networks.
  • Assist the public by providing guidance on how to help animals in distress.
  • Represent the organization professionally when meeting with government agencies and veterinarians.
  • Keep detailed records of all complaints from the initial report to the final legal conclusion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
  • Proven experience in handling animal cruelty cases through volunteering or previous work.
  • Fluency in Hindi and English (knowledge of other Indian languages is a plus).
  • Proficiency in using computers and digital communication tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient approach when dealing with authorities and the public.
  • Deep passion for law enforcement and a self-driven, compassionate character.
  • Personal commitment to a vegan lifestyle.
  • Willingness to travel independently and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Full alignment with the organization’s mission and animal rights philosophy.
