Anode Governance Lab strengthens governance by enhancing the functionality of public systems, especially for the poor and marginalised communities. It focuses on empowering Gram Panchayats through organisational development, providing training, mentoring, and tools to enable local governance bodies to function more effectively. The goal is to ensure that essential services like health, education, and sanitation are delivered efficiently to marginalised communities, promoting decentralised, community-driven development.
About the Role
The role involves helping elected members, citizens, and frontline functionaries engage with data to improve the functioning of Panchayats in areas such as service delivery, institutional performance, and citizen participation.

Responsibilities
- Utilise technology and tools to provide actionable data insights through simplification, visualisation, and analysis of Anode’s existing platforms and Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Develop Local Government report cards based on self-assessment on key parameters, monitoring their performance throughout the project.
- Share report cards with stakeholders and incorporate their perceptions and feedback.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify the most relevant metrics for measuring impact within Panchayats.
- Enhance the decision-making capabilities of Anode and Panchayats through data-driven insights.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, managing communications and relationships.
- Identify and mentor interns, fostering a learning environment.
