About the Role
As a Data Analyst for the India AI project, you will work on improving data management, ensuring data quality, and performing data analysis for Ministries and Departments under contract. You’ll play a key role in streamlining data collection systems, performing quality assurance, and creating reports that generate valuable insights for cross-sectoral government initiatives.
Location: New Delhi/ Ministries (Contract/Consolidated Basis)
Reports to: GM- Data Science
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Government of India data policies and guidelines.
- Streamline data collection systems within Ministries/Departments.
- Support data entry and management to ensure integrity and accurate records.
- Improve the quality of data repositories for the respective Ministry/Department.
- Perform data analysis, data cleaning, and generate insights.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on datasets.
- Maintain documentation on data management practices.
- Extract data from warehouses and back-end systems for analysis.
- Develop automated reports through dashboards.
- Stay updated on trends in data management, analysis, and visualization.
- Develop SOPs for data storage, archival, and deletion in line with government policies.
