About the Role
We're seeking a Data Analyst to join our India Data Insights team. This role is crucial in creating data assets from secondary sources in the public domain, providing actionable insights to our platform users including corporates, NGOs, foundations, and academicians.
Location: Bengaluru
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct secondary data research across multiple development sectors
- Mine data from secondary sources
- Analyze data and identify actionable insights
- Design, create, and publish data insights through visualizations (reports, interactive dashboards, presentations)
- Maintain a well-defined, structured, and cleaned database
The Data Analyst will work closely with our Senior Data Analyst and data experts, playing a key role in maintaining a robust secondary database for internal teams and external clients. This position offers excellent opportunities to interact with leaders in the social impact sector.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent research and data analysis skills
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in analytics and BI tools (Tableau experience is a plus)
- Exposure to automation techniques for data scraping and wrangling (preferred)
- Meticulous attention to detail and numbers
- Good sense of visual presentation and aesthetics
- Active interest and understanding of India's development sector and policy landscape
- Problem-solving skills
