Haqdarshak
Haqdarshak bridges the information and access gap between citizens and social security schemes using technology and a network of field agents, called ‘Haqdarshaks’—mostly women. These agents are trained to work with government schemes, on-field implementation, and liaising with officials. They earn a commission, enabling financial independence.
Haqdarshak partners with corporates, philanthropies, CSR departments, family offices, and government offices to design and implement programs. Present in more than 24 states, Haqdarshak has impacted millions through its digital solutions, which feature 7000+ government schemes in 12 vernacular languages.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and organize data to develop datasets for analysis.
- Define business hypotheses and validate them with data analysis.
- Identify patterns in data and create AI/ML models to drive key business decisions.
- Develop compelling narratives using data to scale Haqdarshak’s impact.
- Script and automate AI/ML model deployment (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT or Master’s in Statistics/Economics/Mathematics.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with data tools (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, S3 buckets).
- Experience writing complex SQL queries for data mining and manipulation.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and data tools like SQL, R, Python, Excel.
- Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
Skills and Attitudes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to new technologies and changing requirements.
- Visual storytelling ability.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral).
