About the Role
Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore
Duration: 1 year

CTC: ₹6,50,000 per annum
The Junior Associate will work within the GeoAnalytics team and collaborate with the core communications team to develop visual content, including data visualization dashboards, interactive web maps, and infographics. The role also involves enhancing social media outreach to communicate insights effectively.
Responsibilities:
Data Visualization and Infographics
- Create visual representations of data (maps, charts, graphs, dashboards).
- Design and edit infographics that transform complex data into engaging visuals.
- Support marketing materials, newsletters, and reports with information design.
- Translate data trends into insightful visual content for social media and other platforms.
- Convert text-heavy presentations into concise, visually rich formats.
- Ensure all graphics align with WRI brand guidelines.
Social Media
- Develop and execute social media strategies to highlight WRI’s work.
- Identify and incorporate relevant social media trends into communication.
- Collaborate with the core communications team to amplify outreach on platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Explore alternative platforms for visual storytelling (e.g., short videos, data visualizations).
Qualifications and Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in graphic design and data visualization.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premier Pro.
- Ability to create icons and 2D/3D images using design tools.
- Knowledge of cartographic design principles and thematic mapping (preferred).
- Experience with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS), Tableau, or PowerBI (preferred).
- Strong presentation, layout, and communication skills.
- Excellent design portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Additional Indian language proficiency (a plus).
- Self-management, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
