Digital India Corporation (DIC) was established by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, as a ‘not for profit’ company under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013. DIC leads the implementation of the Digital India programme, which aims to deploy and promote emerging technologies for the benefit of citizens. It focuses on various digital initiatives such as e-Governance, e-Health, Telemedicine, e-Agriculture, and e-Payments to empower citizens and promote participatory governance. Through its platforms, DIC enhances citizen engagement across the government, addressing the safety and security concerns of a cashless economy.
About the Role
The Deputy Manager – Graphics will be responsible for developing impactful and creative designs for the IndiaAI portal and its social media channels. The role also involves leading the creative process for various digital and print materials, ensuring designs align with the branding and objectives of IndiaAI. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in improving design methodologies and fostering innovation.

Key Responsibilities
- Design creative materials such as E-books, magazines, brochures, posters, website content, social media visuals, and corporate presentations.
- Conceptualize interactive designs, including whiteboard illustrations for digital marketing and public relations campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Social Media Manager, to produce brand-relevant and engaging visuals.
- Utilize design thinking to solve problems and create user-centered designs that are accessible.
- Lead design projects with strategic thinking, manage time effectively, and ensure quality control throughout the creative process.
- Conduct semiotic analysis and apply current graphic design trends to create culturally resonant designs.
- Provide recommendations for improving design processes and methodologies to foster continuous innovation.
- Stay updated with the latest design tools and technologies such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe XD, Corel Draw, and Adobe After Effects.
Skills & Qualifications
- Required Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe XD, Corel Draw, and Adobe After Effects.
- Experience in creating a wide range of digital and print designs.
- Strong ability to conceptualize and transform information into engaging visuals.
- A keen understanding of design thinking and user-centered design principles.
- Knowledge of the latest design trends and technologies.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to lead multiple projects.
