About the Role

We are looking for a Design Associate with a passion for aesthetics, communication, and visual storytelling. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across two forward-thinking organisations:

• 80% of your time will be dedicated to Swissnex in India.
• 20% of your time will be dedicated to Science Gallery Bengaluru.

As a Design Associate, you will contribute to creative projects, shape visual narratives, and develop engaging design content.

Responsibilities

• Design visual materials for Swissnex in India’s projects in health, sustainability, digital transformation, and beyond.
• Create brand mnemonics and campaign materials for science, technology, innovation, and diplomacy initiatives.
• Develop graphics, publications, and digital content for Science Gallery Bengaluru’s exhibitions and public engagement programs.
• Collaborate with teams to build compelling visual collateral across various platforms.
• Engage with industry experts and stay updated on design trends.

Qualifications & Skills

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in design, visual communication, or a related field.
• Strong aesthetic sense with attention to detail in layout, colour, and typography.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
• Interest in communication design, science engagement, and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
