Position Overview
Development Data Specialist, Asia Pacific
As a Development Data Specialist for the Asia Pacific (AP) region, you will play a crucial role in managing and ensuring the accuracy of data that supports our fundraising efforts across Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, and New Zealand. You will be part of a centralized development operations team and will report to the Associate Director of Development, Operations and Strategy, AP. Your work will directly contribute to TNC’s ability to raise the funds necessary to achieve our conservation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management: Ensure timely and consistent documentation of all fundraising activities in TNC’s CRM database (BBCRM). Manage constituent accounts, update information, and maintain data accuracy.
- Report Generation: Produce key data reports to support revenue management and track fundraising performance.
- Support Fundraising Teams: Provide centralized support to fundraisers, ensuring they have the data and insights needed for effective donor engagement.
- Process Improvement: Identify best practices and recommend solutions to improve database accuracy and efficiency.
- Compliance and Discretion: Handle sensitive donor information with the utmost discretion, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Experience in relationship building, report generation, and data interpretation.
- Proven ability to work across teams and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
Desired:
- Multi-lingual and cross-cultural experience.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in database management and problem-solving.
Location & Work Environment
This position can be based anywhere in India, Mongolia, Hong Kong, Singapore, or New Zealand, with a hybrid work arrangement. You must have the right to work in one of these countries. Working across time zones is expected, and TNC offers a supportive environment that values flexibility and work-life balance.
