Position Overview:
Jhpiego is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Digital Health & Data Science to join their team in New Delhi. This role is central to developing and executing AI-driven digital health solutions that will significantly impact global health outcomes. The Associate Director will provide subject matter expertise, strategic guidance, and lead the implementation of cutting-edge technologies across Jhpiego’s programs in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Relationship Building (20%)
- Establish and strengthen partnerships with government bodies, donors, and private organizations.
- Collaborate with global teams to integrate bold solutions and thought leadership into digital health initiatives.
- Generate new strategic partnerships focused on advancing digital health and AI agendas.
- Strategy and Execution (50%)
- Deliver practical expertise to support project design and implementation of digital health solutions.
- Lead the development of AI strategies tailored to Jhpiego's mission, focusing on maternal and newborn health, and family planning.
- Evaluate and implement emerging trends in digital health to enhance Jhpiego’s programs.
- Collaborate on the development of a strategic roadmap for AI use in Jhpiego, prioritizing initiatives with high impact potential.
- Communications & Capacity Building (30%)
- Develop value propositions and communication strategies to enhance Jhpiego’s visibility in digital health.
- Create learning resources and lead capacity-building initiatives within the Digital Innovations Unit (DIU).
- Monitor and respond to bilateral and multilateral trends to position Jhpiego for strategic opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in the health-technology ecosystem, with a deep understanding of AI in healthcare.
- Educational qualifications: MBBS/BTech required, MD/MTech preferred.
- Strong knowledge of public health programs and digital health applications.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing learning resources.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with strong attention to detail.
