Role

This is a part-time senior leadership role to oversee and manage Udhyam's financials and compliance. As the Director of Finance, you will be a key part of the organisation's growth and strategy, dedicating about 24 hours a week.

Responsibilities

Provide oversight across all financial activities including donations, spends, compliance, Social Stock Exchange, and funder reporting.
Lead cost optimization by taking an organization-wide view on strategic and funder-wise spending.
Vet budgets and maintain continuous oversight on cashflow.
Hold different departments accountable for the effective use of funds and their impact.
Drive high standards of integrity and ethics in finance, compliances, and reporting.
Analyse spending for projects and overheads and strategize for appropriate funding sources.
Liaise with respective teams to act on the funding and utilization strategy.
Manage Udhyam’s accounting, audit, and compliance partners.

Requirements

Must have held CFO or equivalent positions or have retired from a senior position in Finance.
Be excited about contributing your financial and strategic skills towards Udhyam's mission.
Be available for about 24 hours a week, spread across the week.
Be willing to be hands-on in the execution of activities like MIS, compliance, etc.
