Role

Director – Fundraising responsible for leading and executing the organisation’s fundraising and partnership strategy to support sustainable social impact initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design and implement a comprehensive partnerships and fundraising strategy aligned with organisational goals.
Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with donors, partners, foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
Lead preparation and submission of grant proposals, funding applications, and impact reports.
Track fundraising performance and refine strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing fundraising team.
Represent the organisation at events, forums, and conferences.
Work with internal stakeholders to build a strong culture of philanthropy.
Manage fundraising budgets with strong focus on accountability and compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, International Development, or related field (Master’s preferred).
7–10+ years of experience in fundraising and partnerships with a strong track record of resource mobilisation.
Strong strategic planning and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Familiarity with grant management, donor compliance, and reporting systems.
Strong commitment to social impact and organisational mission.
