The Apprentice Project
At The Apprentice Project (TAP), children are at the centre of a bold mission: transforming India’s education landscape so every child—regardless of background—can thrive in the 21st century. TAP is not just an education non-profit; it’s a movement unlocking confidence, creativity and real-world skills for students from low-income communities, using the power of AI, interactive learning, and content in multiple languages.
With over 34,000 interactions logged between students and TAP’s bot, and a proven 2x improvement in vital life skills, the numbers only tell part of the story. What truly sets TAP apart is their holistic, human approach—equipping children with emotional intelligence, digital know-how, and money management skills that last a lifetime. The organisation’s impact is both ambitious and scalable, aiming to reach one million children in the coming years.

Winning the Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge and “Great Place To Work®” certification, TAP blends innovation with a workplace culture that’s dynamic and supportive. By attracting passionate educators, technologists and changemakers, TAP is building a future where every child is empowered to become a leader—today and tomorrow.
