About The Role
As the Director of Data and Analytics, you will play a crucial role in transforming how we use data to create lasting change. You will lead the development and implementation of our analytics platform, setting best practices and ensuring that our teams worldwide can harness the power of data to make informed decisions. This position is pivotal in fostering a data-driven culture within World Vision, partnering with various business units, and enhancing the capabilities of our existing data teams.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned analytics professional with:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- A strong background in analytics platform development, semantic modeling, and data warehousing, particularly within Microsoft technology ecosystems.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing organisation-wide analytics strategies.
- Expertise in business intelligence tools, with a strong focus on Microsoft Power BI.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for using data and analytics to drive positive social impact.
