Compensation: ₹23,000 (Inclusive of ₹21k salary and ₹2k travel allowance) /month

Role

The District Resource Person leads the local healthcare program by coordinating with government departments and partner agencies. You will ensure that health services reach the people who need them most while managing a dedicated field team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the district team to ensure high-quality program delivery.
  • Coordinate with Government Departments, SACS, and DAPCU to align health initiatives.
  • Manage the recruitment and training of staff to keep the program running smoothly.
  • Develop and monitor district implementation plans and submit regular progress reports.
  • Conduct field visits to meet stakeholders and solve local implementation challenges.
  • Support mass media campaigns, health camps, and condom promotion programs.
  • Advocate against stigma and discrimination to protect the rights of vulnerable groups.
  • Oversee financial reporting and budget allocation for district activities.

Requirements

  • Post graduate degree in Social Sciences or Social Work from a recognized institute.
  • 5 years of experience in the development sector with a focus on HIV/AIDS projects.
  • Proven ability to manage, monitor, and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strong skills in program management including drawing up action plans and prioritizing tasks.
  • Experience building linkages with civil society partners, government officials, and local networks.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to identify and fix programmatic gaps.
  • Financial management skills to oversee budgets and accounts.
