Role

You will oversee the complete lifecycle of donor-funded skilling projects, ensuring they meet their goals and budget requirements. This position bridges the gap between field operations and donor expectations, handling everything from proposal development to final impact reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of projects to ensure they are effective and on time.
  • Monitor program progress regularly and adjust strategies based on data and analysis to keep activities on track.
  • Prepare detailed narrative and financial reports with inputs from the project team for internal reviews and donor updates.
  • Manage program budgets, track monthly and quarterly expenditure, and facilitate necessary modifications.
  • Conduct regular field or online visits to observe project activities and submit reports with recommendations.
  • Coordinate with internal auditors and finance officers to manage audit wrap-ups and follow-up actions.
  • Identify new intervention opportunities and contribute to proposal development for existing accounts.
  • Organize and facilitate trainings, workshops, and events for project participants and donors.

Requirements

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline; an MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience specifically in managing government and corporate donors within the NGO sector.
  • Prior experience handling donor-funded skilling projects is essential.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and reporting.
