The Tann Mann Gaadi
The Tann Mann Gaadi is a non-profit trust known as "Wellness on Wheels." Their primary mission is to address the issue of open defecation in developing countries. The organization integrates technology with social causes to provide holistic approaches to social responsibility. Their work encompasses health, sensitization, safety, and eco-friendly solutions. Currently, they are focused on building technological solutions to support their fundraising efforts.
Role
This is a part time, voluntary role focused on contributing to the foundation's technical projects. The developer will work on building and maintaining desktop or mobile applications to support charitable fundraising and operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain desktop applications using Electron JS.
- Build responsive frontend interfaces using React JS, Angular, or Next JS.
- Create and manage backend services using Node JS or Python to handle data processing.
- Configure and manage PostgreSQL databases to ensure secure data storage.
- Integrate frontend forms with backend APIs for seamless data submission.
- Contribute at least 10 hours per week toward foundation projects.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Electron JS for desktop application development.
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React JS, Angular, or Next JS.
- Experience with backend technologies like Node JS (MERN/Nest JS) or Python.
- Basic understanding of PostgreSQL database setup and management.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, part time capacity.
- Commitment to volunteer for a minimum of three months.
