Role

You will act as the bridge between enthusiastic volunteers and meaningful social impact. In this role, you will organize and manage volunteering events—ranging from creating educational aids for kids to tree plantations—ensuring a smooth and fulfilling experience for everyone involved.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute both in-person and virtual volunteering events across the city.
  • Conduct orientation sessions to clearly guide volunteers on their tasks during events.
  • Manage volunteers on-ground to ensure they are engaged and the event runs smoothly.
  • Visit schools, colleges, and communities to identify and shortlist beneficiaries for programs.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local nonprofits, corporates, and vendors.
  • Handle logistics, including procuring necessary materials and coordinating with vendors.
  • Track program data and prepare simple reports to share progress with stakeholders.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure all city-level programs are executed on time.

Requirements

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree; a background in Social Work (BSW/MSW) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in speaking Telugu and English is required for this role.
  • Prior experience in volunteering is a significant advantage.
  • Basic proficiency in computers, specifically using MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel within the city for site visits and events.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors, volunteers, and beneficiaries.
  • A coachable attitude with an openness to learning and using new technologies.
  • Access to a two-wheeler and driving skills are helpful.
