Role

The Event Coordinator plays a vital role in bringing people together for a cause. You will be responsible for planning and leading diverse volunteering activities that improve children’s education and help protect our planet.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage volunteering events in schools, colleges, and corporate offices.
  • Provide clear orientations to volunteers so they are ready for their tasks.
  • Engage with and guide volunteers throughout the duration of events.
  • Visit local communities and schools to identify and help beneficiaries.
  • Develop partnerships with local NGOs, vendors, and corporate teams.
  • Handle the procurement of materials and coordinate with vendors for event needs.
  • Track program data and prepare simple progress reports.
  • Oversee the daily operations and general planning of city-specific programs.

Requirements

  • A Graduate or Postgraduate degree (degrees in Social Work like BSW/MSW are a plus).
  • Experience in volunteering is preferred and shows your passion for service.
  • Fluency in Telugu and English is essential for local coordination.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with volunteers and partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Basic computer proficiency, specifically with MS Office.
  • A proactive work ethic and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Willingness to travel within the city as required by the role.
  • A high level of honesty, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
