Role

We are looking for a creative and organized intern to join our core team. The main goal of this role is to help plan and run our quarterly "UDay" events, which use open mics and community gatherings to spread social awareness and celebrate expression.

Responsibilities

• Help plan, organize, and run the "UDay" (Unessa Day) community events.
• Manage event logistics, attendee registrations, and volunteer teams.
• Come up with fresh ideas for events that match our mission of social awareness.
• Handle venue bookings, event schedules, and reach out to potential sponsors.
• Work with the marketing team to promote events and share updates afterward.
• Manage social media, take photos, and talk with the audience during live events.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in any field (Management or Communications preferred).
• 0 to 1 year of experience in managing small events or volunteering.
• Strong ability to speak and write in English.
• Basic skills in using social media and organizing schedules on a computer.
• A friendly and confident personality for networking and audience engagement.
• Ability to work well in a team and respect diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Must be available for a 2-month part-time commitment starting by late March.
