Role
We are looking for a motivated professional to support our e-Governance projects in Karnataka. Your goal is to make government technology work better for everyday people. You will work closely with state departments to audit digital platforms and redesign workflows, ensuring that essential welfare services are easy for every citizen to reach.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day project operations and ensure all goals are met on time.
- Review and improve government digital platforms to make them more user-friendly.
- Use data analytics to find insights that help improve how welfare is delivered.
- Spend at least three days a week in government offices to build strong working relationships.
- Travel to rural and urban areas to talk to citizens and understand their challenges.
- Help create research papers, policy briefs, and presentations for government leaders.
- Monitor project progress and use data tools to measure our success and impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Analytics (Master's preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience using Python, JavaScript, or R Programming.
- Experience in building web applications and using data tools like SQL, Excel, or Tableau.
- Strong skills in UI/UX design (using Figma or Adobe XD) to create simple interfaces.
- Excellent communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- You must be able to read and speak Kannada. Knowledge of Hindi is a plus.
- A citizen-focused mindset and the energy to solve complex problems independently.
- Ability to handle changing priorities with grace and a positive attitude.
