We’re looking for someone who can turn program data and field experiences into compelling reports, donor-ready decks, and communication that inspires support. If you have a flair for writing, a heart for social justice, and hands-on experience in communications or fundraising, this role will give you the chance to create real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Collate data and stories from field teams to create high-quality donor reports, decks, and presentations.
  • Draft grant proposals, funding briefs, and communication material aligned with organisational needs.
  • Maintain reporting calendars, donor interaction records, and ensure timely submissions.
  • Collaborate across teams for case studies, photos, and impact updates for donor-ready content.
  • Support digital storytelling and social media campaigns using insights from the field.
  • Use Canva/Adobe tools to design visually strong donor-facing communication.
  • Ensure factual accuracy, narrative alignment, and compliance across all outputs.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in grant writing, fundraising content, or nonprofit communications.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple timelines.
  • Comfort working on Canva, Google Docs, Excel; knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus.
  • Interest in social justice, girls’ rights, and community-based work.

Preferred/Added Advantage

  • Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care or arts-based communication.
  • Prior exposure to nonprofit social media campaigns or grassroots storytelling.
  • Interest in using AI tools for content and donor engagement.
